Dubai to Host World’s Most Expensive Bodybuilding Championship This September

A plan is now underway for Dubai to host the world’s most expensive bodybuilding championship thus further reinforcing its position as the premier destination for international sports events.

This specific event the Binous Classic Bodybuilding Championship will be held on the fourth year of autumn, particularly from September 27- 30, 2024, in the Dubai World Trade Centre. Scheduled with the assistance of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, the championship will gather a large number of professional and amateur applicants from the whole world.

The event awards half a million dollars in prizes, putting it on list of the richest body building championships globally. Elite male performers will not only perform physical exercises but will also display their body muscles through bodybuilding, men’s physique and a fitness competition; it doubles up as a Mr. Olympia qualifier contest.

The Championship has received a boost with the endorsement of the Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, the Chairman of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation who said the championship was an important tool to spur on the development of the country’s sports particularly the UAE.

The management of championship shows UAE’s intention to promoted bodybuilding and fitness sports; with so many people expected to attend the championship the event will put Dubai on the global map as a sporting power.

This championship will be attended by more than 700 participants from different countries, which represents the interest of foreigners to participate in the championship. These additional categories enable local athletes from the Gulf region also compete and get rewarded, besides being given a chance to participate in future international competitions.
