Strengthening Economic Bridges Dubai’s Growing Ties with China

As a result of the official upgrade of the relationship between the two nations, the Dubai Chambers has recently unveiled the Dubai Business Forum – China scheduled for the 21st of August in Beijing. Dubai Business Forum – China: A Strategic Initiative

The Dubai Business Forum – China is scheduled at a time when the two countries mark 40 years of diplomatic relationship. Dubai Chambers is will host the event through which it aims at enhancing and opening up bi-lateral investments and cooperation. Under the theme “China, Dubai and Beyond: Titled “Igniting Global Trade and Investment,” the forum is expected to bring in high growth companies to Dubai and help Chinese firms with the probable opportunities for regional and international growth.

Sectors of focus during the forum are Fintech, Agritech, Food & nutrition security, Sustainable living, and other Disruptive Technologies. His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers underlined that the forum will contribute to the enhancement of the trade ties and the sustainable interests with China according to the vision set in the “Made in China 2025” plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda.

Enhancing Trade Relations

The Dubai Chamber has also over time continued to ensure that it enhances the bilateral relations in terms of trade with china. Some of the recent activities include the establishment of the China United Arab Emirates Economic Exchange Conference that was meant to seek cooperation between Dubai and the Shandong Province of China in areas involving trade and investment. This event attracted more than 350 participants including 80 delegates from Shandong province as well as signing various deal to boost business relations.
